The analysis in the Lake Ice section of the State of the Climate in 2021 report included data from CLIC. Across North American lakes, we found that ice-on was 5 days later, ice-off was 11 days earlier, and there were 16 fewer days of ice cover in the 2020-2021 winter season relative to the last 30 years.
